How can AB Vista help?
As a global feed additive business, we have unique access to feed and protein producers across all continents, creating an opportunity to develop global insights and provide consistency in how we measure emissions across the globe.
We are a member of the Global Feed LCA Institute (GFLI) which can be used to evaluate the environmental impact of feed produced around the world. This membership gives us full access to their global feed database which contains environmental impact data for feed ingredients produced around the world.
Our sister business Intellync, a data and technology business, developed the world’s first on-farm carbon footprint assessment tool, delivering data insights to inform improvement strategies, completing thousands of farm-level carbon footprints and currently support a range of retailers and food processors in their efforts to reduce scope 3 emissions.
Our emissions reporting service, which we offer on a complimentary basis to our customers, incorporates the know-how derived from that original tool and our sister business. This encourages consistency and transparency in how the protein production supply chain measures its emissions.
Building a net zero agricultural industry
Within our own family of businesses, we have mapped out our scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and have identified energy, transport and packaging as our priority focus areas to achieve net zero by 2030.
Our scope 3 emissions will be prioritised to address measures that are most relevant to our customers first, for example: emissions associated with third-party transport and raw materials.
For more information, see our emissions reporting service page:

Online Feed Fibre Calculator
Calculate the percentage of dietary fibre in your feed
Our calculator is designed for nutritionists and uses averages of global raw materials to calculate the dietary fibre content (plus other more in-depth fibre parameters) of finished animal feed. These parameters are available within AB Vista’s Dietary Fibre analysis service (part of our NIR service).
